Nataša Lovrić is working at the European Forest Institute Headquarters in Joensuu as part of the Research and Policy Coordination Unit.
She holds a PhD degree from Freiburg University in forestry, environmental and natural resources as well as holds M.Sc. degrees both in forestry resources management and forest policy and economics.
Currently she is coordinating the FOREXT-Forest Extension network and she is the Project manager of GenRes Bridge Project. Her expertise lays in environmental governance and forest policy, and she mostly works on socio-economic aspects of forestry in addition to sustainability of environmental and natural resources. She has also worked in foresight and policy support as well as in projects related to private ownership in forestry.
