Session: Advancing ecosystem services assessment and biodiversity footprinting in bio‑based and circular systems
On 19–21 April 2026, join the SETAC Europe 27th LCA Symposium in Bruges, Belgium. At the event, EFI is co-organising the session "Advancing Ecosystem Services Assessment and Biodiversity Footprinting in Bio‑Based and Circular Systems."
Anyone working on ecosystem services, biodiversity metrics, LCA, or sustainability assessment in bio‑based and circular value chains is invited to join.
The session brings together leading researchers and practitioners developing next‑generation approaches for measuring ecosystem impacts across forestry, agriculture, and industrial bioeconomy systems. Expect discussions on cutting‑edge tools, new modelling frameworks, and innovative metrics that can transform how we assess ecological performance.
Session Chair: Mateo Saavedra del Oso (Stora Enso, Sweden)
Co-Chairs: Mohammad Naji (EFI), Stanley Zira (SLU), and Ira Bhattarai (Luke)
If your work pushes boundaries in biodiversity footprinting, ES assessment, or circular bioeconomy sustainability, we want your contribution.
Register by 29 April 2026.
