David Millar

David  works to strengthen how knowledge is captured, shared and used across programmes and partnerships, as part of the International Forest Governance Hub. He focuses on making evidence accessible and actionable, supporting informed decision-making and greater impact in forest governance. 

With a background in the international development sector and expertise in managing a climate resilient programme, communications, and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), he helps bridge the gap between data, learning and practice. David is particularly interested in fostering collaboration, improving knowledge flows, and ensuring evidence is not just generated, but also utilised.

Based in our Edinburgh office, David enjoys mountain biking and playing football in his spare time.
