Javier Ortiz

Javier  is an economist with an MBA and over 20 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, rural development, and environmental governance across Latin America. He specializes in sustainable value chains, deforestation-free supply chains, and agro-environmental finance. 

Javier has worked with governments, the private sector, and international organizations, most recently as Regional Director for Latin America at the Tropical Forest Alliance (World Economic Forum). He currently serves as a Value Chain and Governance Expert, supporting countries in LatAM in advancing sustainable and deforestation-free commodity production.
