Jim Djontu
Land-use Governance Expert, Global Partnerships
Jim is a Forest Engineer with both an MSc and a Doctorate in Forest Governance from the University of Freiburg in Germany.
He joined the European Forest Institute (EFI) in 2019 and has since contributed to the organisation’s work in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo. His efforts have focused primarily on the EFI Rapid Response Project (EFI‑RRP) and the International Forest Governance Hub (IFGH) within the UK’s Forest Governance, Markets and Climate (FGMC) programme.
