Saah A David Jr.

Saah is a Technical Advisor and National Focal Point in Liberia. He is a dedicated environmental management professional with extensive experience in Liberia's sustainable development sector.

His career in the forest sector began with the World Bank Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) REDD+ programs, followed by leading the Liberia Forest Sector Project (LFSP), funded by the World Bank and the Government of Norway. He later served as Natural Resource Specialist in United States Aid for International Development (USAID) Liberia's Economic Growth Office. 

He specializes in sustainable forest management, climate change mitigation, carbon markets, and fostering international partnerships. With strong expertise in stakeholder engagement, policy advisory, and environmental governance, he supports initiatives bridging government agencies, investors, and global organizations. His achievements include coordinating high-level forums, facilitating discussions on forest reforestation, ecosystem restoration, and REDD+, and coauthoring two books: The 4Cs Approach and Practices and Approaches on sustainable forest management in Liberia.
