Dean Ismail

Dean leads the rubber workstream of the Malaysia Smallholder Project, focusing on strengthening smallholder livelihoods and improving sustainable rubber production. 

His work spans value chain analysis, smallholder engagement, and collaboration with government agencies, processors, and industry partners.

He supports the adoption of good agricultural practices, traceability and compliance with sustainability requirements, while identifying efficiency and income‑uplift opportunities across farm inputs, productivity, and market access. The role combines on‑the‑ground implementation with strategic insights to drive scalable, inclusive impact.
