Cecilia works in environmental economics, doing a PhD on economic incentives for ecosystem services provision in European forests at the University of Bonn. Her main research interests are effectiveness of policies for nature conservation, wildfire risk management and rewilding.
She holds an MSc in Forest and Nature Management from the University of Copenhagen and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Trento.
Her work combines quantitative cost-benefit analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, spatial analysis with qualitative methods like Delphi studies and thematic analysis.
