The EFIMED network brings together researchers, practitioners, policymakers and organisations from across the Mediterranean and beyond. It connects diverse actors who are committed to strengthening cooperation, sharing knowledge and supporting sustainable forest management.

At the core of EFIMED’s mission, the network helps bridge science, policy and practice, enabling informed decision-making and practical solutions tailored to the region.

Through the network, members collaborate, exchange expertise and contribute to building resilient Mediterranean ecosystems and communities. Participants include research institutions, forest managers, public authorities, private organisations and civil society from Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
