Alex Giurca
Alex holds a PhD from the University of Freiburg and an MSc jointly awarded by the University of Eastern Finland and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. His expertise spans bioeconomy governance, sustainability transformations, and science and technology studies.
He applies a broad conceptual and methodological toolkit — from social network analysis and discourse analysis to mixed-methods survey approaches — to examine how societies govern and transform their forest sectors.
