Franek holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Ecological Engineering from Warsaw University of Life Sciences and Master of Science in Forestry from the University of Eastern Finland.
He previously gained experience with NGOs working on local forest initiatives, conducting field surveys, GIS analysis and biodiversity studies.
He now focuses on accelerating innovation across the forest sector, with particular interest in circular bioeconomy, wildfire resilience, and the role of local communities in driving social innovation.
