Gerard holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a master’s degree in International Relations from Pompeu Fabra University.
Since 2019, he has worked at the European Forest Institute as a communications specialist, supporting EU-funded projects and corporate initiatives related to Mediterranean forestry and forest genetics. He has extensive experience in corporate communications and media relations, having previously worked in press and social media roles for EU institutions, multinational companies, and research and higher education centres in Barcelona.
