Since 2019 I have been working as an in-house consultant with the governance and resilience team in Bonn. My career spans both academia and practice and I have a particular interest in urban issues ranging from biodiversity, city and territorial planning, nature based solutions and particularly urban forestry. I also, on a pro bono basis, convene the international steering group for the European Forum on Urban Forestry (EFUF). I am based in North East England and hold a lectureship at Newcastle University. I passionately believe in an European approach in all areas and especially feel that it is relevant in terms of sustainability and sustainable development. I am happy to be approached with regards to other opportunities to act as an in-house consultant on projects where I have appropriate skills.
