Jerylee Wilkes-Allemann is Principal Scientists at the EFI Biocities Facility. She has a degree in Forest Science from the Freiburg University in Germany and a PhD in Forest Governance and Policy from the ETH Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL. Next to her position at EFI, Jerylee is a Senior Researcher and lecturer at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland. During more than one decade as a researcher, she has been conducting, leading, and managing projects in Europe and beyond. Worth mentioning is the development of a research agenda for the Biocities facility. Jerylee is a leader on the topics of urban forestry, ecosystem services and participatory processes. She has worked across sectors and disciplines aiming at understanding societal change and social-ecological interactions in order to improve the way we want to live in the cities of the future.
