Sarah leads EFI’s institutional communications and dissemination, exploitation, and communication in EU research projects. She is a skilled event moderator and workshop facilitator, and is committed to communications training and capacity building.
From 2012 - 2025, she led communication for EFI’s Mediterranean Facility, shaping network communications in the Mediterranean region and founding the MedForest platform.
Before joining EFI, Sarah worked as an NGO project manager in international development and marine conservation. She holds a postgraduate degree in secondary education from the University of Exeter and a BA in modern languages and literature from the University of Birmingham.
