The objectives of the project were:
-
To develop a comprehensive modelling framework for predicting the dynamics of and services provided by major European terrestrial ecosystems at a regional scale. The framework covers all EU countries, Norway and Switzerland.
-
To apply this framework for the analysis of European terrestrial ecosystems, in order to determine the vulnerability of ecosystem services with respect to global change.
- To include in the assessment a strong dialogue with stakeholders to provide research results that are applicable to the management of natural resources in Europe.
