The objectives of the study are firstly, to analyse the existing forest inventory and survey systems, their methods, procedures and rest inventory systems and secondly, to study the needs and possibilities to harmonise the existing information systems regarding forest resources. The analysis covers EU and EFTA countries, as well as Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.
The results of this project have been published in EFI Technical Report 17.
