The objective of this project was to analyse the present legal, administrative and policy sub-systems for forest resources utilization, protection and reproduction in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, and, based on this, to suggest improvements in the policy instruments to balance the economic, ecological and social interests managed by state forests.
