The main objective of the project was to provide consistent scenario analyses of the impacts on the European and Finnish forestry-wood chain (or forest cluster) by potential changes related to (a) international timber supply and (b) the international climate convention. For each of the 24 regions/countries of the project, the impacts will be estimated as changes relative to a base (most likely) scenario, for the harvest volume of roundwood, changes in roundwood prices, changes in production of forest products, export/import and prices of forest industry products and changes in consumers and producers surplus (as indication of national economic gain/losses)
