Eduard Mauri holds a BAS in Forest Management and a MSc in Forest Sciences by Université Laval (Quebec City, Canada). He has developed applied research and knowledge transfer projects in silviculture and sustainable forest management in Canada, Spain and France. Working at the European Forest Institute since 2016, he has been coordinating or developing technical tasks in EU-funded multi-actor projects on forest disturbances and resilience, non-wood forest products, wood mobilisation and forest monitoring. He also supported bioeconomy innovation at the EFI Bioregions Facility. He is currently coordinating the ResAlliance-project. He enjoys connecting forest actors and make them work together to achieve common goals.
