Eduard Mauri holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Forest Management and a Master of Science (MSc) in Forest Sciences from Université Laval in Quebec City, Canada, and is a PhD student at Ghent University. He has been involved in applied research and knowledge mobilisation projects in silviculture and sustainable forest management in Canada, Spain and France.
Since 2016, he has worked at the European Forest Institute, serving as project coordinator on two Horizon Programme projects. He has also coordinated or developed technical tasks in multi-actor projects focusing on forest disturbances and resilience, non-wood forest products, wood mobilisation, and forest monitoring. He provided short-term support for bioeconomy innovation at the EFI Bioregions Facility. He enjoys connecting forest stakeholders and facilitating collaboration to achieve shared objectives. He is currently the leader of the feedback workstream for the EU-FarmBook platform.
