Ian is a researcher in cross-cutting approaches to urban forestry, nature-based solutions, green Infrastructure and citizen participation. He has significant policy/practice experience in participatory forestry, greenspace/open space planning & strategies, multi-stakeholder partnerships & co-governance, urban agriculture, biodiversity, landscape scale habitat networks, regional planning and sustainable development goals.
