Juliet has over 9 years’ experience working in international organizations and high-level processes. Her research work focusses on global forest topics specifically forest-related-employment including green jobs, forest education, agroforestry, rural development and gender in the forest sector.
She is currently serving as the Deputy Coordinator of the IUFRO Task Force “Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Forest-related Sectors” (ForGEDI-IUFRO). She was the deputy coordinator of the Joint IUFRO-IFSA Taskforce on Forest Education from 2019-2021.
She has an MSc. in Tropical and International Forestry from Georg-August Universität, Göttingen and a BSc. in Agroforestry and Rural Development from Moi University, Kenya. She is currently a PhD candidate at Wageningen University, Netherlands.
