Lia Sweetman de Clar

Lia Sweetman de Clar has a Bachelor’s degree in Global Sustainability Science and a Master’s degree in International Development from Utrecht University. She has a background in research on the social impact of the circular economy, having worked at Utrecht University on sustainability-related topics. Since 2025, she has been working with the European Forest Institute. Her work includes event organisation and supporting awareness-raising and stakeholder engagement activities, particularly at the regional level within the Bioregions Facility, with a focus on innovation and a strong interest in fostering collaboration around sustainable practices.
