Shanqing Gao

Shanqing Gao is passionate about connecting people with ideas that shape our relationship with nature. With a background in media, culture, and communication, she enjoys turning complex research into stories that are clear, engaging, and meaningful to wider audiences. Her work focuses on building bridges between science, policy, and society through creative communication, stakeholder engagement and digital & visual storytelling. She is particularly interested in how different formats of narrative approaches can inspire collaboration and help people better understand the role forests play in our shared future. Shanqing holds two master’s degrees in British and American Studies and Media Management.
