Vrinda holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Delhi, India, and has recently completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Biodiversity, Ecology, and Evolution at Leipzig University, Germany. Her research interests lie in understanding how wildlife, particularly mammals, coexist in human-dominated landscapes, and the conservation challenges arising from these interactions. She has previously worked on a range of biodiversity-related topics, including human-carnivore conflict in India, herbivory and plant invasions in dry forests, and a soil biodiversity related science communication initiative. Her current work focuses on deer densities in North Rhine-Westphalia, public perceptions surrounding them, and biodiversity surveys in Meghalaya, India.
