2018 Annual Conference takes place at the Hotel Carlos V in Alghero, a town of about 44,000 inhabitants in the Italian insular, province of Sassari in north-western Sardinia, next to the Mediterranean Sea.
Please note that the participant is responsible for all their own travel and accommodation reservations and expenses.

Alghero Fertilia Airport is located about 12 km from Alghero town centre.

Trip from airport to city is 25-30€.
Taxis will stop and start in front of I/O of the terminal. You can reach them by telephone switchboard 24h. Further info here.
Airport bus stops, for all directions, are located on the right end side, just 150 mt. outside the arrival area.

- Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (approx. 140 km from Alghero); the city centre is only 4 km away.
- Cagliari - Elmas Airport (approx. 250 km from Alghero); the airport is only 7 km away from Cagliari city centre.
Public transportation (train and bus) connects Cagliari and Olbia city centres to Sassari, which is approx. 30 km from Alghero and connected by local public bus.
Ferries can reach Sardinia from Genova, Livorno, Piombino, Civitavecchia, Napoli, Trapani, Palermo, Marsiglia, Barcellona. Arrival is in Olbia, Golfo Aranci, Porto Torres, Santa Teresa di Gallura, Arbatax, Cagliari. Companies: Tirrenia, Moby, Sardinia Ferries, Grandi Navi Veloci, Grimaldi, Saremar, SNCM, La Méridionale.
