Fresh year 2025 and new opportunities for Mediterranean resilience!
The EFI’s Mediterranean Facility is excited to kick off the year by sharing a new edition of our newsletter, packed with inspiring initiatives, events, and opportunities from our Mediterranean network and beyond.
In this first edition of 2025, we place a special spotlight on the free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) launched by the Horizon Europe ResAlliance project. Starting on 10 March, the course explores innovative climate solutions in Mediterranean agriculture and forestry, equipping participants with actionable strategies for resilience.
This edition also highlights the Mediterranean Youth Task Force’s newly elected board for 2025, fostering youth leadership in the region. Additionally, we share the exciting news of EUFORGEN entering a new phase (2025–2029) to advance the conservation and sustainable use of forest genetic resources in Europe.
As always, this edition includes calls, upcoming events, and publications from across the Mediterranean and beyond, alongside updates on policy forums, international projects, and open opportunities for funding and collaboration.
