Minister of Natural Resources of China visited EFI Bonn

H.E. Mr. Lu Hao, the Minister of Natural Resources of People's Republic of China, visited EFI Bonn office with a delegation of high level staff from the Chinese ministry and its forestry and grassland administration. The delegation was on a two-day visit with the German government, and during their visit at EFI Bonn they were briefed about the institute, European forests and ecosystem services, and integrated forest management. In the lively discussion, the Chinese minister showed high interest in the aspects of how to protect, restore and govern forests for multiple values, natural capital, and forest related (urban) planning. The Chinese delegation continued their visit to one of the Marteloscope sites in the forests near Bonn.
