Non-wood forest products (NWFP) are of great importance for many Italian regions, especially in rural and inland areas. In the Taro Valley in Emilia Romagna, the “Fungo di Borgotaro IGP” has succeeded in using mushrooms for the promotion of the territory and tourism, becoming a very interesting Italian case study.
In the first cross-sectional seminar of the ‘Innovation Networks of Cork, Resins and Edibles in the Mediterranean basin’ (INCREDIBLE) project, participants will discuss how to integrate NWFP into territorial marketing as a part of the project’s goal to address the gap between existing research and innovation knowledge.
The seminar will present innovation cases from Italy and will incorporate interactive activities, such as a local field trip.
