Catch up on April's news from the EFI Mediterranean Network
April's EFI Mediterranean Network News provides you with a quick summary of the most interesting ongoing activities across the Mediterranean and beyond. For starters, we highlight the main outcomes of the SINCERE project on forest ecosystem services which recently published a policy paper and brief to address some urgent challenges in the field of Forest governance.
Additionally, among the top stories in this issue, we report on the scientific study led by the University of Santiago de Compostela, in the framework of the H2020 Go-Grass project, which warns of the great potential of silvopasture as a beneficial agroforestry practice for European forests, despite its low use in Europe.
The newsletter also features promising events in the field of forestry, such as the EU ROSEWOOD4.0 project final event, which will take place on 14-15 June, both in person (Barcelona, Spain) and online. The theme of the conference is innovation as a driver for the sustainable transformation of the forest sector in Europe.
As ever, this edition includes calls, job opportunities, upcoming events, and publications from all over the Mediterranean, as well as items of interest from elsewhere.
