EFIMED September newsletter is out: are you ready for the #EFIMedForum 2022?
The newsletter from EFI’s Mediterranean Network is finally back after the summer break! This September edition is full of news, starting with a piece on the first EFI Mediterranean Network Forum, which will take place in Barcelona, Spain, between 29 November and 2 December 2022. You are all invited to register for this event, where you will have the chance to meet and interact with other forest researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from across the Mediterranean. This will be also the perfect occasion to discuss the Mediterranean Forest Research Agenda – MFRA 2030, aimed at providing a benchmark for further action over the next years.
Have also a look at the efforts carried out by organisations such as EUSTAFOR and EFI to support Ukrainian forests and forestry researchers. Moreover, in October you can’t miss the various events on ecosystem services provided by forests!
As ever, this edition includes calls, upcoming events and publications from all over the Mediterranean, as well as items of interest from elsewhere.
