EFIMED's February Newsletter: Young Leadership Programme Mediterranean 2023
The EFI's Mediterranean Network newsletter comes with a very special announcement this February: the launch of the Young Leadership Programme Mediterranean 2023!
The 2023 edition will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with land abandonment, forests and cultural landscapes in the Mediterranean region and equip them with the scientific knowledge and interpersonal skills needed to become effective and influential leaders in the field. The call for applications is open until 31 March.
Alongside this top story, this issue collates a wide range of contributions from across our network: from the HoliSoils project publication that advocates more soil-oriented forest management to foster climate change mitigation to the European Forest Genetic Resource Programme (EUFORGEN) webinar series on ash dieback and its consequences for the genetic diversity of ash trees.
