This month's newsletter starts with announcing open registrations for the 8th Mediterranean Forest Week (8MFW). This flagship event will bring together researchers, policy makers and stakeholders in Barcelona from 4-8 November to collaborate on building sustainable and resilient Mediterranean forests.
The newsletter also highlights innovative projects like ancient clay jar irrigation techniques for sustainable agriculture, ecological restoration efforts to enhance island ecosystems’ resilience against fire and climate change, and remote sensing advancements for vegetation mapping in Lebanon.
