EFIMED's March newsletter highlights forests' multiple potentials
Before the start of the Easter holidays, EFI is pleased to share with you the latest news from our Mediterranean Network. This March edition highlights the multiple benefits and services, as well as the untapped potential of Europe's forests for society and the EU's green economy. From the 12 key questions featured in our latest Knowledge to Action (K2A) publication, to reflections from the past H2020 INCREDIBLE Policy Forum, now available on YouTube, to campaigns and seminars related to the International Day of Forests; this month has shown how forests are gaining momentum on political and media agendas.
Beyond the benefits and services that forests bring to society, the bulletin also includes other initiatives starting this month such as the European Forum on Urban Forestry (EFUF) or interesting publications that move away from the forestry approach and address the challenges of integration and cooperation in the Mediterranean region.
As ever, this edition includes calls, upcoming events and publications from all over the Mediterranean, as well as items of interest from elsewhere.
