EFIMED's May newsletter: speak out and participate in different surveys!
The last edition of EFIMED’s newsletter is actively asking for our Mediterranean community's participation! During these last months of confinement due to COVID-19 many projects have launched surveys and questionnaires in order to analyse the effects of this situation on the forest sector. Among them, the H2020 project My Sustainable Forest invites you to fill in this survey in order to know the effects of the pandemic in the forest management sector in order to get to know how remote sensing technologies could be the key to help forest managers and owners.
In addition to this survey, other initiatives of the Green4Care project or the Copernicus Climate Change Service (CS3) are also seeking the opinion and reaction of the forestry community to find out the needs of their stakeholders or target groups. Furthermore, the role of the forestry sector in the EU Green Deal has been the main subject of reflection and discussion in webinars in the last month and will continue to draw interest in the coming weeks with many other initiatives and events.
As ever, this edition includes calls, upcoming events and publications from all over the Mediterranean, as well as items of interest from elsewhere.
