Call for bids for EFI Annual Conference Week

Call for bids for the EFI Annual Conference Week taking place in 2022 - 2024 

The Annual Conference takes place during the EFI Annual Conference week which is organised in co-operation with EFI member organisations. The Annual Conference is one of the main decision-making bodies in the EFI organisation. The conference will last 3-5 days, including one Conference day, one Seminar day and a one-day field trip. The official language of EFI events is English. Information about previous Annual Conferences and their venues is available here.

EFI wants to increase awareness amongst the general public and decision makers about Europe’s forests – and promote their versatility, significance and social impact. Therefore from 2014, EFI will grant the title of ‘European Forest City’ to the city which hosts the EFI Annual Conference. The title will be given annually, and will last for one year (i.e. European Forest City 2020). During this year, the city can utilize the title in its promotional materials and communications.
