You can now find us on Instagram. We hope that our content will help to raise awareness around forest-related issues and inspire new audiences to engage with our work.
Through visually engaging content, we aim to find new avenues for collaboration with younger audiences, journalists and other civil society actors with our science-informed content around diverse forest topics and ecosystems. Complementing our other social media channels, our Instagram account gives you direct access to fun facts about forests, project stories, events, publications, celebrating international days, research updates related to our work on resilience, governance and bioeconomy and EFI facilities, as well as collaborating with partners in a format that encourages greater public interest and involvement.
With a mission to connect "knowledge to action”, we want to use this platform to expand our network and strengthen the overall relationship between people and forests. To increase awareness of the vital role forests play, the importance of forest science and sustainable commodities, EFI will use Instagram to share scientific findings and the impact of projects and highlight the researchers who contribute to building a sustainable society.
