Gesche Schifferdecker

A political scientist by training, Gesche has over 20 years of experience in science communication. After roles with Deutsche Welle and the international Max Weber Foundation, she joined EFI in 2017. She leads dissemination and communication for international, European, and national research projects, translating complex scientific and policy topics into engaging, audience-focused narratives.

Gesche is passionate about organizing events, moderating discussions, and fostering collaboration while engaging a wide range of stakeholders to strengthen impact. She is currently managing a team of seven communication officers.
