In 2020, EFI opened a short term mobility grant (STM) for early stage researchers and professionals from or visiting EFI Associate and Affiliate Member organisations with a valid membership for 2020.
The STM provides a unique opportunity for interested candidates to get acquainted and involved in international level forest research and forest related activities.
The aims of a STM are to contribute to the strategic objectives of EFI and to strengthen the EFI network by allowing early stage scientists and professionals to gain experience of working in a different organisation in another European country; foster collaboration; and gain knowledge about a new topic, technique, method or tool not available in their own organisation.
