Present your research at #IFPM4! Call for abstracts open
We want to learn more about your expertise on forest related policy issues!
The 4th International Forest Policy Meeting (IFPM4), taking place in Bonn, April 27-29, 2022, is a great opportunity to present your research. We are happy to hereby share the call for abstracts and invite you to take part in the conference!
IFPM4 is organized by European Forest Institute’s Governance Programme in collaboration with EFI’s Forest Policy Research Network coordinated by the University of Life Sciences Vienna (BoKu). The conference will focus on the science-policy and the science-media interfaces in the field of forest policy. The past months have reminded us once more that human health is closely intertwined with the well-being of our environment and further the compelling need of well-informed, science-based discussions.
We therefore warmly welcome research contributions on all topics relevant in the context of forest policy and from different academic and geographical perspectives.
We particularly encourage early-career scientists to submit abstracts, as the meeting is a unique opportunity to present and discuss their work in a supportive, international academic environment.
More info about the abstract submission can be found here https://ifpm4.info/. The deadline for submission is November 15th, 2021. Registration for the conference will open in January 2022, and accepted submissions will be informed before.
It is the intention of the conference organizers to develop a special issue in a peer-reviewed journal based on selected conference contributions. More information will follow later.
We kindly ask to share this call amongst your networks. Your contributions build the fundament of the International Forest Policy Meeting, that will gather knowledge from across the globe.
You will find more info on the website, or follow us on twitter @EfiGovernance .
We look forward to welcoming and hosting you in Bonn.
